If you haven’t heard of Plants vs Zombies then you’re probably living under a rock.  This awesome tower defense game is by PopCap an has spanned multiple platforms, from the PC, the Mac, the iPhone/iPod Touches to the Xbox via an XBLA version.  Now if you Nintendo console owners are feeling left out, don’t worry, Plants vs Zombies is headed for the Nintendo DS as well!

The DS version of the will feature all of the original modes—including adventure, survival, and puzzle—as well as “new and exclusive game content.” No word on what that exclusive content is so well have to sit on this one.

The game will feature  the excellent touch controls found in the iPhone and iPad versions of the game.  Plants versus Zombies for the Nintendo DS will be released on January 11 for $20.
