Shin Megami Tensei IV gets $10 discount until October 14
Not satisfied with the price drops for Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan and Shin Megami Tensei: Soul Hackers? Not to worry, Atlus has heard you.
Starting today, Shin Megami Tensei IV will cost $10 less for both digital and physical copies of the game.
Unfortunately it’s a temporary price drop for the game’s initial $49.99 cost — a tad pricier than standard 3DS games — and the promotion will run only until October 14.
IRVINE, Calif. – Oct. 1, 2013 – Beginning today, the mature, demon-collecting role playing game Shin Megami Tensei IV will be discounted to $39.99 through Oct. 14. The $10 price drop will be available both in stores and in the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS. This is the first discount promotion for this highly rated entry in the SMT series since its initial release in July. Available exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS system, Shin Megami Tensei IV puts players in the role of a Samurai, a protector of the Eastern Kingdom of Mikado, where players will struggle in the battle between law and chaos.
As a newly appointed Samurai in Shin Megami Tensei IV, players will struggle with factions that have nefarious designs on the world as they defend their home kingdom from a growing army of demons. Decisions players make throughout the course of the story will have lasting repercussions, as the fate of the world hangs in the balance.
Shin Megami Tensei IV is rated M for Mature by the ESRB. More details are available on the official website at http://www.atlus.com/smt4. This promotion only runs through Oct. 14, after which the game will revert to its previous price of $49.99.
