Xbox One set to officially launch November 22, 2013
Microsoft has officially unveiled the release date for it’s upcoming console the Xbox One — November 22, 2013 one week behind the PlayStation 4.
The Xbox One will launch in just over two months time in 13 countries including the US, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom, and New Zealand.
A few days prior, Microsoft has set the hardware specs of the Xbox One in stone, bumping the CPU to 1.75GHZ from 1.6GHZ and the GPU speed by 6% and rumors floated that production has already started to meet the pre-orders and upcoming demand this holiday season.
The Xbox One will be sold for $499 and be bundled with a single controller, Kinect, and a Chat Headset. 23 launch titles are confirmed to be available by the game’s release including Forza Motorsport 5 and Killer Instinct. On the Sony side, the PlayStation 4 will be released at $399 and will be available in 32 countries at launch.
