Following Sony Computer Enterainment Japan Asia’s Japanese presentation for the February release of the PlayStation 4 for the Japanese market, the rest of Asia gets a bit of good news. Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan will be having Sony’s next generation consoles launch this December.

At the Sony Press Conference in Tokyo today, Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) has announced that their next-gen gaming console, the PlayStation 4 will be launched in the South East Asian region on December 2013, starting with Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan & Korea.

The downside for us in the Philippines, no official launch, yet. Pretty sure we’ll get our units via DataBlitz around the same time but don’t quote me on that.
