Capcom announces Monster Hunter: Frontier G for the PlayStation Vita
And just when we thought we will never see a Monster Hunter game for the PlayStation Vita, Capcom announces the Vita port of Monster Hunter: Frontier G.
Monster Hunter Frontier G for the PlayStation Vita to complement the PlayStation 3 release by allowing players to swap data to and from both consoles as is the case with Monster Hunter Portable 3rd for the PSP and PS3 and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for the 3DS and Wii U. Capcom says that the Vita version will also feature online play, contrary to current Monster Hunter games on portable consoles that only have adhoc multiplayer and that players can “connect with WiFi and play easily on the go.”
Unfortunately for players going the Vita route only, Capcom will be releasing an exclusive world for the PlayStation 3 version. World A and B on PlayStation 3 and Vita, but World C available only to PS3 players. The upside is that it will be possible for players to switch between worlds.
Monster Hunter Frontier G for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita will get a Japanese release in 2014. As usual, no word on an international release as of yet.
