Aquapazza: Aquaplus Dream Match set for US release
Good Guy Atlus is bringing the 2D fighting game, Aquapazza to the international market for the PlayStation 3.
What makes Aquapazza different from other fighting games? It features 13 playable characters from assorted Japanese RPGs and visual novels, like Tears to Tiara, Utawarerumono, To Heart, etc. So yes, unless you dig all things Japanese, this is a niche game.
Aquapazza: Aquaplus Dream Match will feature online multiplayer, character-specific storylines, training modes, etc.
Fortunately for those of us who patiently waited for the international release, Atlus has confirmed that the localized version will ship with content from the current Japanese version (2.01). This ensures that we’ll be getting new characters (like Oboro, Kurusugawa Serika, etc) and other improvements “for tournament-grade action.”
Aquapazza is set for release on retail and the US PS Store on November 19. Price is set at $29.99. Here’s hoping for a PlayStation Vita port 😀
