Three months ahead of the official launch, Xbox’s Major Nelson does the honors of having the first ever unboxing video of the Xbox One.

The Xbox One package contains:

• New and improved Kinect sensor, with a wider field-of-view
• Mono headset with inline audio controls
• Xbox One controller
• 4K rated HDMI cable
• Manual, paperwork, and a sticker
• Power cord and power brick
• “Liquid black” (aka glossy) Xbox One console

Nothing different from what we know so far aside from the inclusion of the mono headset.

Major Nelson made a quick rundown of the available I/O ports which includes:

• HDMI Out, S/PDIF
• HDMI In (for cable/satellite pass-through)
• USB 3.0 port x3
• the Kinect socket (note that Kinect can function as an IR Blaster)
• an IR Blaster port
• Gigabit Ethernet,
• Kensington security lock
• the propriety power connector

The Xbox One is set to launch sometime this holiday season for $499.
