Nintendo set to bring eBooks to Japanese 3DS
Due to it’s appeal to children, Nintendo is looking to expand the utility of it’s 3DS console by adding eBooks to the Japanese eShop.
According to Japanese publication The Nikkei, more than 300 eBooks will be available for the console starting this fall. This move will be the second time Nintendo will be entering the eBook market, with the first being on the original Nintendo DS for Europe with the 100 Classic Book Collection and the application Bookstores Everywhere for Japan.
No word if this move will also be seen for the international market.
