Microsoft to offer Free Unlimited Cloud Storage with Xbox One
After relaxing several restrictions that many vocal gamers deemed unnecessary on a console, Microsoft is starting to serve up a bit of fluff to entice others to jump on the Xbox One wagon. Aside from giving games access additional processing via the cloud service, Microsoft is upping the ante saying that you’ll be able to avail of a “unlimited sized” hard drive with your Xbox One.
“Xbox Live offers Xbox One unlimited storage space in the cloud for all Xbox Live members to store numerous types of Xbox Live content, including your profile, games, Achievements and entertainment. This content is stored and saved in the cloud so you can automatically access it anywhere, anytime, no matter where you are.”
The caveat? You need to be subscribed to Xbox Live to avail of the free storage.
I now wonder how many people will try to test and see how “unlimited” is “unlimited.”
