In a similar vein to the $30 promotion of availing Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei for the 3DS, Nintendo is hoping to spur more interest in the Wiiu by giving away upto $10 of free credit when you add funds to your Nintendo eShop account.

To add funds, you’ll need to charge your credit card to buy Nintendo points or simply load a Nintendo pre-paid card.  If you manage to do so before July 28th, you’ll receive a promotional code which you can use to redeem the eShop credit.   Do note that there is a tier for the rewards.  If you add $50-$99.99 you will receive a promotional code for $5, and if you add $100 or more you will receive a promotional code for $10.

This promotion is exclusively available on the Wii U.
