Nintendo’s latest 3DS system update – 5.0.0-11 – seems to have a bit of QA issues as some players reported inability to access the Nintendo eShop and System Settings after installing the latest system update.

Not to worry, your 3DS hasn’t become a lemon as Nintendo says there’s three easy steps to fix your problems.

1. Power the system off.
2. Press the power button, then immediately press and hold down the L button, R button, A button, and Up on the +Control Pad. Keep holding down the buttons until the system update screen is displayed.
3. Tap OK on the system update screen.

If your 3DS is still not working properly, you may need to bring it in for warranty.  Be sure to call Nintendo’s toll-free hotline at 1-800-255-3700.
