The Vita is getting a new fresh color this February as the Ice Silver edition PlayStation Vita starts shipping on the 28th.  Currently set for the Asia region of the PlayStation market, the WiFi-only model is the forth special color for the Vita family joining the red, blue, and white shades (of course black isn’t miscounted but it’s the default offering)

Only mentioned in the brief are Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan but we can expect the Philippines to carry one soon enough (go DataBlitz).  The Ice Silver PlayStation Vita is expected to cost the same as the standard Vita package.

Unfortunately this isn’t what Sony has in store for it’s Feb 20 announcement for PlayStation 2013 but hey, at least we get a new Vita color.  Now let’s get those limited edition consoles out eh Sony?
