Price isn’t just the only thing that’s for the Vita today as Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto personally demoed the Vita port of the fan favorite Final Fantasy X. Hit the video below and crank it up to 720p for the goods.

Hashimoto teased that an official announcement for Final Fantasy X HD will arrive soon. Whether that’s a release date or more teasers, we’ll just have to wait and see. On the upside, fans of Tidus and Yuna who haven’t ponied up the cash for Sony’s latest portable console have at least one reason to celebrate as Hashimoto also confirmed that Final Fantasy X is coming to the PlayStation 3. I guess these Vita-PlayStation 3 tie-up will come out more often. On the upside, fans will get to enjoy these games on both their home console and on the go. The downside of course is we might end up paying twice for the same game. Bummer.
