Upcoming 3DS firmware adds 3D video
The Nintendo 3DS dual camera’s capabilities are going to receive a upgrade with the upcoming firmware update.
According to the announcement made by Nintendo president Satoru Iwata, the 3DS will get the following new features:
- 3D video recording of upto 10 minutes for each clip.
- Stitch photos together for a stop-motion animation short.
- A map overlay to show where Miis you’ve collected in StreetPass are from.
- 3DS to 3DS transfer.
- A sequel the 3DS RPG Find Mii.
US 3DS owners will receive a bonus for updating their console in the form of Hulu Plus, allowing you to access the streaming service’s vast archives of TV shows and movies.
