Capcom introduces One Save file per game DRM
While a lot of gamers love Capcom for their contributions to the gaming industry, they are slowly accumulating a lot of flak and angry customers from the company’s dalliance with DRM.
The story for today is that Capcom is looking to limit the re-sale of their 3DS game Resident Evil: Mercenaries 3D for the Nintendo 3DS. How exactly is Capcom employing this? By Mercenaries 3D a one-time play affair. This means that once you have unlocked all the everything and played the entire game, you will not be able to erase the game’s save data and start fresh. To be able to play again, you need to buy yourself a new copy of the game.
