HowTo: Fix “The Battle.net Account does not include an associated copy of Starcraft 2” error
You’ve just bought StarCraft II, installed it on your system, entered your CD-KEY in Battle.Net, got the confirmation (and thanks) from Blizzard that your game is now authenticated. Upon launching the game and logging in to Battle.Net, you encounter this lovely little error:
“The Battle.net Account does not include an associated copy of Starcraft 2”
FUUUUUU~~~
Before you throw in the towel, there’s a fix for this but you have to check IF you have the right game client. If not, check this post on how to get access to the North American server in StarCraft 2. This will enable you to add the proper region of the game to your Battle.net Account.
Now, if you do have the proper client and yet encountered this error, Blizzard’s customer support offers a very simple solution: Change your Password. Make sure you didn’t prevent the patcher/updater from launching though.
If all else fails, you can always to a fresh reinstall right?
