The follow-up to 2008’s RPG/Fighting Game Dissidia: Final Fantasy, Dissidia 012 [duodecim] includes an expanded roster with FFXIII’s Lightning, FFVII’s Tifa and FFIV’s Kain, along with new game modes, story missions, a new assist mode, items, alternate costumes and combat features.

Weirded out by the title? “duodecim” means 12th (so Dissidia 012 [duodecim] literally means Dissidia 012 [12]? lol) in Latin and refers to the 12th battle between Cosmos and Chaos, which requires new allies, both good and evil, to aide you in battle.

Dissidia 012[duodecim] Final Fantasy will be released in North America and EU in 2011. Expect another limited edition Dissidia PSP for Japan that we will never see :(.
