uhh that’s a DS game is it not?
How do I play the game like if example,I downloaded Bleach Heat The Soul both part 1 and 2 and i transferred it into my psp,and inserter it in the ISO folder,then I plugged out the usb cable and found that I did not have the game in the memory stick and still have loads of space inside it.How do I get to play the game that I downloaded both part 1 and 2 in my psp.
You have to unzip it first on your PC using 7zip, winrar or winzip. If the file gives you a bunch of same named files, right click and unzip anyone of them until you get a single .iso (or .cso) file and copy THAT to your memory card.
The reason that you can’t see the game at the moment is because it’s still in a rar file and the PSP can’t read it.

oh you’re on the official firmware.
You need the custom firmware for the game to run dude.
Follow this guide or have someone do it for you.

Tryed doing it Fucks up around the time i put the 4 files in my GAME folder saying they wont play or some thing… đ any ideas?
The safest way is to look for someone who can do it for you. It may cost you a bit but it beats bricking your PSP and ending up buying a new one.

well it’s still your choice whether to install a custom firmware on your unit. I’m just here to offer the advantages of CFW over OFW.

I downloaded god of war, and extracted all the files, then what do i do? There are folders filled with a bunch of stuff and where do i put them? I have custom firmware and everything.
you need to extract it again (not the original file but the stuff you’ve just extracted) to get a single iso/cso file. That’s what you put into the ISO folder
hey syl… cant convert the i-file i downloaded the end result of the extraction was psp_game folder not an iso file…… what to do??

i downloaded god of war…. the end result was a folder with filename psp_game with 900mb. I extracted it twice..

ah my bad… kaya pala.. ung naipost ko dito is ung pinaliit na version nung game.. less cinematics to lessen filesize. Yung sa extraction, I think either luma ung gamit mong Winrar or corrupted ung file.
Ganito. pili ka from any of the current download links dun sa GoW post (tinanggal ko na ung ifile one). You do have to redownload again pero if it doesn’t work… err. pede kita bigyan copy so long as nasa Cavite or Makati Ayala ave area ka =_=

If ayaw err.. maisusuggest ko na lng is tulong from the peeps of Pinoy PSP. If may malapit na member sa office nyo baka pede sila makipagmeet for a copy of the game ^_^
syl i used 7zip but its the 437MB version….ok naman cya nilalaarop ko na … maraming salamat sa mga reply pre…… nagdodownload ako ngaun nung 1.53GB na version….

Try downloading through torrents. It’s much faster and even if you get disconnected, you can still resume. It’s all a matter of learning how to configure bittorrent to max out your speed. đ

if it extracted with no error message, then the download was completed. It’s either something went wrong during the copy to your memory stick or it got corrupted somehow.
If it still fails, you can always try torrents.

err you know that’s not a real standard of size… we do measure in bytes you know. (increments of 8 instead of the usual 10)

hi,i had just got an psp i upgraded it to the latest firmware 4.50, can i able to play any games if i downloaded to my memory stick? i tryed to downgrade to the 3.90 M33 firmware but cant, my friend said i could only play downloded games if i had the 3.90 M33 version. can u please advice me what must i do, Ps: i havent try downloding any games yet after upgrading it.. only 1 demo game from the psp web site works on it will the others work to?
You have to convert your Official Firmware to the Custom Firmware. You can do it yourself if you’re gutsy enough with this guide or you can ask a friend to do it for you.
sorry 4 the erlier confusion on the firmware its 4.05 from psp & not 4.50.
i have tried the method but its not working, its only says cant play this game.. is there any firmware with 4.05 M33 & higher so i can download?
Custom Firmware is still just at 4.02. There’s no work around on installing CFW.. you need to downgrade THEN upgrade it to the version you want.. in this case 4.02 M33-2

Not all of them, most of the newer games require at least 3.7x firmware. The latest games like Phantasy Star Portable require 4.x

to see your PSP firmware:
Settings > System Settings > System Information

You need an Archive program to extract it, you can use winRar or if you want it free use 7zip.
I have downloaded, Bleach: Heat the Soul 5, and when I tried to extract it using WinRAR I got an error message ‘Corrupt File’ is there something special I need to do or is there a work-around for it… Or re-downloading the file will do the trick?

The Tested bit has 2 values right? The lowest version of the CFW that you can play the game is in the parenthesis

you can start extracting with any of those files. It’ll extract everything for you.
If you didn’t find anything after extracting then you probably had an error but didn’t see it.

Yep it’s working. Try changing your ISO setting. I found several people’s problems with the game rooted from there.
i just dl’d the new mnc: la remix, created a profile and went to the la career but it didnt go past the loading screen.. whats wrong?

you’re probably using official firmware. Convert your PSP to custom firmware (it’s written in the instructions that you NEED custom firmware for it to work)

If you live in the philippines you can go to shops where they can convert your PSP for you. It’s not practical because of the cost (around 500 to 750 is reasonable) but at least it’s safe.

matagal na pong lumabas ang 16GB memory stick. If balak mo bumili ng 16GB, I suggest na bumili ng orig, not Class A kasi una sa lahat mas matibay ang original, mahirap na baka sa gitna ng kasarapan ng laro mo eh macorrupt ang memory card mo at mawala LAHAT NG saves mo.
From experience, lahat ng 8GB pataas na memory stick ay dapat orig. About Harvest moon, nadownload mo yung 2 parts then na-extract? Baka 2 bes mo naextract kaya yan ang lumabas.

it’s alright, 5.00 M33 can be installed on 3.5 M33 and above. I’ve edited the post a few days back but it’s still showing the 4.01 M33 requirement for some reason.

are you sure you entered hako right?
The only other way that you’ll get that message is if the one of files you downloaded is corrupted (which is why the file sizes are posted so you can check)

theres a big problem with downloading games like Monster hunter 2ng i have repeatedly try to “extract” the file and i got to the point of frustration when i “SLOWLY” wrote H-A-K-O and it didn’t work. sigh and i wrote it both way in cap and not

use 7zip or any extraction program that supports .rar
first is turn off your psp (hold the power button for at least ten seconds) and then turn on your psp while holding the R button or the Right shoulder (the upper right button). and then find “Configuration” and click X-button, find “UMD Mode” click X-button until “Sony NP9660 -NO UMD-” appears. Then you can now exit and that’s it you can now play ISO and CSO games.

What Monster Hunter are you importing from? Are you sure that you have the right localization? Monster Hunter will only allow you to import a US save game to a US version of the game.

Hmm that’s odd, it’s fully working on the guy who just updated to 5.03 GEN-B. Try downloading it again (you probably don’t want to do this since it’s a huge download) or copy the game to a friend’s PSP with the same firmware.

Try reflashing your PSP (install ulet ung CFW) or download an ISO that’s been patched for 5.00 M33 ( para compatible sa lahat )

okay so, ive tried over and over again to use custom firmware… i have an origonal psp with the latest officail update. i even used the links that were ment to ”help” me. it didnt work, i downloaded the chickhen r2 file, along with the 5.00 firmware.at the xmb it says the firmware cannot be run, and the chickhen r2 is a corupted file… any help here?

it says an original psp can be completely modded. thats where im having trouble, ive read it 3 times now. the original is completely hackable, the rest of that page is about the 2000 and 3000, i dont care about them right now. also im a bit frustrated because im using my psp to write this, and it has taken me over ten minutes
If you at least took to heart what the post said then you’ll note that you need a pandora battery to downgrade your PSP. If you had a firmware version that’s 5.03 or below, you can still install custom firmware without a pandora battery but seeings as you’re already on the latest official firmware, a pandora battery is the way to go.
i read the other link about not fully needing a pandora battery, but the part including officail firmware mentioned only 2000 and 3000. unless i read it wrong this morning at 5:30. if so im sorry, but would you be kind enough to tell me what to do on this wall instead of sending me to a link? it takes forever to load different tabs on a psp
*sigh* I’m not sure what part of the post you’ve read but from my last comment, I was pretty sure I lead you in the right direction… which is to get a Pandora Battery. You’ve mentioned that you have the latest official firmware. The only way to install custom firmware when your PSP is updated with the latest firmware is to install it via a Pandora Battery.

No don’t do that since you’ll be locked out forever from installing CFW from your PSP.

hi sir… i have a CFW 5.03 GEN-C(FULL) then i installed prometheus for 5.03 firmware but still Dead Or Alive Paradise won’t work. Please sir give me advise regarding this matter…
Which version of the prometheus module did you install?
i downloaded it from a website saying it is a prometheus-4 for 5.03, but according to my unit after installation its written there to the system info: 5.03 prome-3
actually DOA paradise is playing, but most of the time it hang-up…. what do you think is the problem? by the way sir monster hunter 3rd is working properly
just wanna ask i downloaded the game dinner dash and i dont know how to put the game in my psp the version of my psp is 5.03 chickhenr2 using gen c
place the file in the ISO folder on your memory stick. If you don’t have an ISO folder, simply create one and place it there.
when i put the game in the ISO folder, the game dont appear in the games, im using psp 3000 thanks any advice thanks a lot
What file format is the game file? They need to be in ISO or CSO format

help please, I have a psp phat 1000 with ofw 6:60 installed,I have installed lcfw 6:60 Pro-B10, but am unable to get iso’s or cso’s to run, iso’s don’t show and cso’s show as corrupt, even monster hunter three from this site does not work!!

What folder did you place the isos into?
Iv’e tried putting them in the game folder, then I tried making a new folder called iso. and mounted it direct to the root of the memory card , to no effect.
rename it to ISO

If you’re referring to PSX Eboots, you can stick them as follows:
X:/PSP/GAME/[Game Name]/EBOOT.PBP
