The series for Fate/Stay Night left a somewhat bitter after taste (especially after archer died 🙁 whoops spoiler :D) but it managed to tell the Fate arc’s story quite generously. It’s a real achievement considering they dropped all hints that it came from a Hentai game (some parts of the story were actually connected to the H-scenes, like how they recharge the servants :D.

The anime of course simply showed the FATE arc, which was only one of three story lines found in the game. Unlimited Blade Works and Heavenly Feel, the arcs which you can access after the original, had a more intriguing focused and storyline. Fans of this Type-Moon mega-hit Fate/Stay Night wanted more. And they’ll get more 😀

Up for release on cinemas on January 23^rd, 2010 is Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works.

If you’ve played the game, you already know what the movie has in stored. If you haven’t seen the series, see it before watching UBW although we’ll most likely get to see this when the DVD rolls out the market. 😀
